Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
Marketing Automation is operated by Scimej ("we", "us"). It monitors the Meta ad accounts you connect, recommends changes, and applies them when you or your Autopilot rules approve. This policy explains what data we handle and how.
Data we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, company or brand name, and a hashed password.
- Meta data, after you connect Facebook: an access token (stored encrypted), the ad accounts, Pages and pixels you can access, your campaigns, ad sets and ads with their settings, and their performance insights.
- Lead form submissions, only if you turn on lead sync: the answers people give in your Meta lead forms, such as name, email or phone number. These are stored encrypted.
- Chat messages you send to the in-app assistant, and its replies.
- Notification settings, such as alert email addresses and Slack webhook URLs (webhooks are stored encrypted).
- Activity logs of the changes made to your ad accounts, so you can review and undo them.
How we use it
- To sync and analyse your ad performance and generate recommendations and reports.
- To make the changes to your ads that you or your Autopilot rules approve.
- To deliver leads, alerts and reports to the destinations you choose.
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
Services we share data with
- Meta Platforms, to read and update your ad accounts through the Marketing API.
- Anthropic, when AI features are enabled: ad performance data and chat messages are sent to generate explanations, summaries and assistant replies. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
- Resend, to send alert and report emails.
- Slack, only if you add a Slack webhook.
We may also disclose data when required by law.
Security and retention
Access tokens, lead answers and webhooks are encrypted at rest, and all traffic uses HTTPS. We keep your data while your account is active. Disconnecting Meta deletes your access token straight away; synced ad data stays until you untick the ad accounts on the Connect page or request deletion.
Your choices
You can disconnect Meta at any time from the Connect page, or remove the app in your Facebook settings. To see how to delete your data, or to request a copy of it, see Data Deletion or email us.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date above and notify account owners by email.
